Almost 30 years of residence in Italy coupled with extensive traveling throughout the beloved land have given us a unique understanding of the culture, habits, traditions and many idiosyncrasies of the inimitable Italians and their eclectic lifestyle.

Barbara Maher, Owner and Director of Italian Itineraries, set up the company in 1992 in Sydney, Australia, starting with four apartments in a couple of restored farmhouses in Tuscany. The portfolio now numbers dozens of beautiful homes, the result of a careful & meticulous selection process. Barbara travels often to Italy, always on the lookout for new and better properties to offer, visiting and selecting high-quality homes to add to her 'collection'. She speaks Italian fluently.
