Casa Principessa is less than 2 km from the charming village of Gualdo. After being uninhabited for many years local artisan builders have restored the beautiful old stone house with great skill using the old stones, tiles and wooden beams from the original property. The result is a charming, traditional and comfortable holiday villa with modern comforts.

The views to Sarnano, Gualdo and the majestic view Mt. Sibillini are amazing.

Accommodation:
Entrance to the house:  there are two entrances to the house.  The main entrance is from the car park, down a few steps to the ground floor.  The second is to the first floor, on the same level as the parking area.  The latter goes into the second sitting/studio room.

The main house has three levels, and includes two sitting rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms.

The independent accommodation in a small stone house, about 5 metres away, houses a huge modern laundry, bathroom with shower, pool house, loggia, double bedroom and a full-size, original ‘forno’, or bread and pizza oven.

In the main building the kitchen has a huge old oak beam right across, from wall to wall, for the stove hood, which has now created an atmosphere of the traditional farmhouse kitchen.  The appliances are the latest available: Miele dishwasher, 5-burner Ilve stove, etc. The adjoining dining room is furnished with an antique refectory table and sideboard.

The main sitting room has an open fireplace, a comfortable leather lounge, an audio system, CD player and a TV/DVD player with satellite connection.

On the next level there are two bedrooms, each with custom built furniture. One is a queensize and the other a twin bedroom. These two rooms share a bathroom with shower facility. They adjoin a second spacious sitting area cum study, which has a comfortable foldout sofa bed.

On the top level is the pride of the house (after the kitchen) a cathedral-like master bedroom with a luxury en-suite bathroom featuring double basins, a huge bathtub - with view - and a separate walk-in shower.

For the alfresco living/dining, there are two areas: one just outside the kitchen, and the other under cover in front of the pool (10 x 5 metres and fully maintained). Ample outdoor furniture makes use of these places very comfortable indeed.
