The Bastioni is a recently restored free-standing house, with 3 bedrooms and a private garden, located in a lovely area beneath Piazzale Michelangelo, near the Arno river. Its impressive entry opens on a delightful living room, large and sunny, characterized by parquet flooring in herring-bone pattern and furnishings in true Florentine taste, with sofas and armchairs, satellite TV, a beautiful fireplace and an antique Provençal sideboard. The living room opens onto the garden through a French window.

On this same level we find a small bathroom with WC, the kitchen, complete with all necessities, including electric fan-forced oven, 4 gas burners, dishwasher, refrigerator with separate freezing compartment.

The kitchen, large and inviting, is also furnished with a drop-leaf table which when opened can accommodate 6 people with 6 pub stools. The kitchen also opens onto the private garden, which has a wrought-iron gazebo containing a round table seating 6 for al fresco meals in the Florentine tradition.

The upper floor is devoted to the sleeping quarters, having all 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom, with an antique-beamed ceiling and decorated in red and white fabrics, has a romantic four-poster bed. The second bedroom, with blue and white fabrics, has a double bed (or 2 singles), a balcony with panoramic view of the dome of the Duomo. The two rooms share a bath with stall shower, a large window and canary-yellow tiling. The third bedroom has a double bed (or 2 singles), and a small en-suite bath with stall shower.

The house comes with air conditioning in the three bedrooms and a washer/dryer arranged with a cover situated outside beneath the terrace. Available upon request: Internet connection, housekeeping, extra beds and baby cot.
