Perfectly located in the very heart of Siena, in the pedestrian area, this 3rd floor apartment offers comfortable accommodation for 5 people. The attractive apartment consists of a living dining room with a modern kitchen corner (well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 4-burner gas cooker, microwave, toaster, American coffee maker, orange squeezer) and a fire place; one double bedroom (queen size bed) with ensuite bathroom with a small shower (no shower box); one double bedroom (twin on request); one bathroom with tub.

Reached by a stair case in wrought iron, there is small sitting area in a gallery overlooking the living room. In the upper floor there is also one single bedroom with a skylight, more suitable for younger guests. Parquet floor and exposed beams, this beautiful apartment is furnished in stylish and contemporary fashion. Air conditioning, central heating, washing machine, ADSL internet line and a mobile phone at the guests’ disposal. The mobile is to be paid upon use.

The Palio of Siena is one of the most exciting and spectacular festival event in Italy, a twice-yearly bareback horse race in Piazza del Campo, held on the 2nd of July and 16th od August. As the apartment is very close to the Contrada of Oca, it can be noisy during the days of the Palio. Guests have the parking for one car included in the rental price in the nearest car parking. The owners require 200,00 € as a security deposit for the special parking card. Taking a train or a bus from Siena it’s possible to visit many delights of Tuscany, including Firenze, San Gimignano, Pisa etc.

'Must-sees' include the Piazza del Campo, scene of the enthralling Palio horse race twice a year, which is about 300 mt from the apartment. It is the central feature of the old town, a spacious scallop-shaped square dominated by the massive facade of the Palazzo Pubblico (Town Hall).

The Cathedral, one of the finest churches in Italy, standing on the highest point of the town, is about 5 minutes walk away. A few steps from the apartment is the Logge del Papa, an elegant three arched loggia by Antonio Federighi, so-called because it was commissioned by Pope Pius II (Enea Silvio Piccolomini) in honour of his family. Numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance.
