Joining two other lovely houses on the same estate, set on the gently sloping hills below the town of Cortona, we are happy to present the recently restored Casa del Ruscello. Equally as charming as La Casina and La Casona which have been two of our favorites for many years now, the latest jewel in the crown is set over three floors and offers a host of wonderful amenities.

Reached by a paved road all the way to the front door, Casa del Ruscello has an area of 165 sq mt in total, located at 400 asl. Guests enjoy lawns around the entire villa and pool area as well as a lovely garden. There is a splendid terrace of 66 sq mt, part of which (30 sq mt) is covered with a gazebo in wrought iron with bamboo roofing. You can dine al fresco here and enjoy wonderful peaceful views!

The accommodation is comprised as follows:

Ground floor: Entry into a large living room furnished with sofas. It opens to the right into an air-conditioned dining room for 8-10 persons and the excellent kitchen equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, four gas burners, all in stainless steel. Dinner service is in traditional white by the famous ceramics maker Richard Ginori with settings for 16 people. Pots and pans and cutlery are all in stainless steel and there is a full range of glassware from water and wine to cognac to grappa, champagne, whisky etc etc. Plastic glasses for the pool area are also provided.

To the left of the sitting room is an air-conditioned bedroom with adjoining sitting room;  the latter is furnished with a n excellent sofa bed and can be converted into a bedroom (with a real king size bed) should the group be comprised of 8 people. These rooms are serviced by a bathroom with shower and double wash basins.

First Floor: A sitting room furnished with sofas and armchairs, stereo, DVD, satellite TV and a working fireplace. To the right is a twin bedroom (can become queen), bathroom with shower, walk-in closet, air-conditioning and screens on the windows. To the left is a queensize bedroom, also with air-conditioning and screens on the windows, bathroom with shower.

The tower on the third level offers another twin bedroom with two windows, air-conditioning, bathroom with shower (no window, but an exhaust fan) and screens on the bedroom windows.

For a large group of up to 17 people, Casa del Ruscello can be rented together with La Casina (see separate page) which is 220 meters away, joined by the Roman road running between both houses.

Other amenities at all three houses on this estate include telephone with internet connection, and the houses are connected by an intercom system.
