Amongst the olive trees, near the hills of Siena, in a natural setting and bathed in tranquillity, La Civetta offers a totally relaxing holiday together with the opportunity, given its favourable position, to visit Tuscany’s most beautiful historical villages and art towns.

La Civetta is a typical Tuscan farm, created from an old cottage located on top of a hill, from which you will enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside and the medieval village of Casole d'Elsa. The house has been recently restored to a good standard, retaining many characteristics of an old Tuscan property, including exposed beams and beautiful exposed stone walls.

It is a spacious house (200 sqm) set on two floors and can accommodate up to nine guests. It comprises a kitchen, a dining room, two living rooms, three bathrooms and four bedrooms. There are mosquitos nets on all the windows.

On the ground floor: living room with fireplace, satellite television, stereo system with CD player and radio, two sofas and armchairs; 3 steps from the living room lead to the dining room with table and chairs; 2 steps from the dining room lead to the fully equipped kitchen with 4-ring cooker, oven, fridge with freezer, toaster, American coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, table and chairs.  From the living room, there are 2 steps leading to the bathroom with Jacuzzi.

On the first floor: a living room with fireplace; twin room (double by request) with en-suite bathroom equipped with shower cubicle; double bedroom with en-suite bathroom equipped with shower cubicle; a triple bedroom (a queen size bed and single bed); twin room (double by request) and a bathroom with shower cubicle.

From the garden, going down 5 steps, there is a nice independent suite for 2 people, which is only rented together with the main house. It consists of a dining room, of a double bedroom and bathroom with shower cubicle. From the dining room there are 4 steps leading to the kitchen furnished with 4-ring cooker and a small fridge.

The house is surrounded by a spacious private garden and offers a beautiful swimming pool with Jacuzzi corner (12m x 6m – 1.50 deep), woods where you can go for peaceful walks amidst nature, and a gazebo for relaxing in the afternoon and dining in the evening as you admire the surrounding landscape. Barbecue and washing machine available.

The welcoming owners live in a villa adjacent to La Civetta, leaving the exclusive use of the pool to the guests.

The property is reached by a short track of an unpaved road that winds up to the hill. La Civetta lies just a 5 km drive (or a 25 minute walk along a country footpath) away from the pretty village of Casole d'Elsa with its shops, restaurants and bars. Siena is about 35 km away.
